 | I grew up with a mother who knew much of her German-English-Irish family history and a father whose almost totally German history was already researched and published by others. Because I know a lot of what my mother and grandmother told me, other family members are asking me to compile it. I now find that I sometimes don't clearly remember some points and that there are a few gaps in what they knew.
So I am beginning my search to fill those gaps in
my mother's family lines almost all of which reach into the early 1700s of America. My father's lines are just as old in this country, but luckily most of that work has been done for me.
The search is fun even when I just find records of people that I already know about. "Ah ha, There you are!" I am guilty of neglecting
my usual retirement activities such as downhill skiing and hiking.
I'd be glad to hear from or help any Whitener(Weidner), Cline (Klein), Barringer (Behringer)
with a Catawba County, NC tie - OR any Kids,
Tucker, Howard, Asbury with a Lincoln County, NC
connection. The Lincoln Co. families will be where I need the most help. - Julie |
