 | I am a member of the following societies: General Society, Sons of the Revolution; National Society, Sons of the American Revolution; the Society of the Descendant's of Washignton's Army at Valley Forge; Order of the First Families of Maryland; and, the Swedish Colonial Society. My families are out of St. Mary's County, Maryland (Johnson) and Philadelphia/Dauphin County, Pennsylvania (Freeburn). My Ancestor Hill Freeburn was a member of the Continental Army, Corps of Artificers. I am also descended from Joran Kyn who settled in New Sweden in 1643 and at one time owned most of the land that is today the city of Chester, Pennsylvania. He was part of the bodyguard of soldiers that accompanied Gov. Johann Printz each day.
I am the Assistant Chief Administrative Law Judge for the Office of Administrative Hearings, State of Minnesota. My wife is a retired Financial Consultant. My other interest is aviation history and I have attended the Oshkosh Airventure every year since 1994. |
